Uta Michels

I am a certified Coach and Trainer with focus on international management development, change management and project management.

After completing my studies in Business Management and Computer Science in the US I spent over sixteen years in management functions with international corporations like Kraft Foods, Philip Morris International, Sony Europe GmbH and Merck & Co. Inc. During my professional career I focused on business areas such as information technology, supply chain, project management and organizational development.

As a member of the senior management team in two separate IT shared service centers I know the key success factors of change management from experience. Mergers and restructuring require a disciplined yet sensitive approach to communication, team building and company culture. It is only when employees feel included that they can firmly stand behind new values and objectives and act upon them in their day-to-day operation.

I have implemented project-management methodologies in several organizations and led process optimization efforts using the Balanced Scorecard. I am certified as ILP-coach and have completed several coaching programs. Since 2006 I have been working successfully as trainer and coach for national and international companies.

Since I have always worked in English-speaking business environments and gained most of my professional experience abroad (US, Belgium, Switzerland), I conduct coaching programs and trainings in German and English.
